The totals are in and I’d like to congratulate Lisa Rochester on her victory. Delaware continued its trend of voting Democrat, so this result is not a surprise. That said, the Libertarian Party of Delaware received more votes for US Congress than ever before. Since I began running for Congress in 2012, we’ve increased our vote total every election, and the 6,436 votes I received this run is 57% more than the last presidential election cycle in 2012. I am humbled by your support.
As always, I can’t express my appreciation enough for all that supported my campaign. First and foremost of course are my wife Maria and daughter Virginia. Without their backing and help I would not have made it through this election. And to all those who gave money, walked neighborhoods, put out my signs, shared ads on Facebook, and everything else, you have my most sincere thanks and gratitude.
As I transition to a ‘normal’ life, I look back over the last three elections with so many fond memories. I’ve met so many new people, made many new friends, seen new places, and grown so much as person. I look forward to remaining active in the LPD and advancing the cause of Liberty. Again, thank you for all your support.
